Fun Monger is intended to help new (and sometimes not-so-new) online business owners understand the basic, and most essential parts, of online business.  The world of online business can be an overwhelming — and sometimes risky — place.  No one has all the answers and, in fact, this virtual world is so big that there really are no correct answers.  But I’ll try to give you a road map to help you find your way.  I’ll give you step-by-step instructions, tips and ideas for how to make your journey exciting and fun.  And hopefully we’ll keep you out of the swamp.

You’d probably like to know what makes me think I can lead this adventure.  Good question.  You should ask.  I want to reiterate that I don’t know everything, but what I do have is a nice combination of education and experience.  I’ve got a degree in Computer Information Systems, I’ve worked as a Senior Project Manager in a large web development / web marketing company and I’ve managed multimillion-dollar accounts and little teensy accounts.  I’ve been a marketing manager and I’ve had my own online business for many years, and I’ve worked directly, or indirectly, with some of the biggest names in the game.

Maybe the most important thing for you to know is that I’m a bit of a renegade and I don’t always follow the crowd.  I think that people always come first, and that means that I believe that you should always have fun in your business, and that your clients should always have fun working with you.  It’s all about the experience, baby!
